Northern Lights Lacrosse Festival is a first of its kind 12-hour event which includes structured lacrosse games, activities, music, food, and professionally-led mental health education at Badger Park in Shorewood, MN. The 2nd annual N.L.L.F will be held on Saturday, July  18th, 2020. Funds raised for specified, relevant charitable organizations. 

Festival Mission

Creating space for happy minds celebrating the purity of sports and positive thinking through lacrosse. Having fun and distraction from everyday life in a safe environment rich in awareness about mental health and acceptance of teen mental illness. 

Our aim

  • Raise charitable donations for Archer’s Aim* to fund:
    • Mental health training for area youth coaches.  
    • Scholarships for two 2020 Minnetonka graduates displaying kindness and character overcoming adversity associated with mental illness. 
    • Other community-based initiatives devoted to improving teen mental health.
  • Provide event day education and foster community acceptance in a fun atmosphere geared toward our youth.
  • Having fun and healing the loss of Archer.
  • Set the stage for a third festival in 2021 and beyond.
